Participating in a group provides an opportunity to be with people who are likely to have a common purpose and likely to understand and provide supportive feedback to one another. Try one of our member congregation support groups.

NAMI - Minnesota

Mental Health Connect (MHC) Navigators have referred many people to support groups at the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI). NAMI offers a wide selection of in person and virtual support groups for issues like anxiety, children/teens, caregiving, and mental illness in general. Freedom Fighters Support Group

A peer-driven support group open to our military, veterans, their family or support system. It is an opportunity for them to gather and work though their issues while enjoying comraderie and friendship. We provide a community meal, chiropractic, acupuncture, massage, and live music. We also have resource tables with veteran and community-based resources. The group is free to all who participate.

Volunteers of America

A free, on-line support group for helpers, providers, caregivers and others who may be experiencing isolation, fatigue, frustration, and/or mental health symptoms, which may be related to supporting others during the pandemic. This program is called ReST – Resilience Strength Time.

Online, free, facilitated support groups are offered approximately three times per week and individuals can join as often as they wish.  https://www.voa.org/rest
